Terms of Service

These terms apply to all services provided by Solvico. By submitting an enquiry or booking a service you agree to these terms.

1. About Solvico

Solvico is a managed property services company serving Hertfordshire and Greater London. We arrange vetted contractors to carry out property services on behalf of clients. Solvico acts as the managing party — contractors are independent operators, not employees of Solvico.

2. Our Services

Solvico arranges the following services:

  • End of tenancy cleaning
  • Managed home cleaning
  • Deep cleaning
  • Graffiti removal
  • Jet washing
  • Window cleaning
  • Gutter clearing
  • Pest control
  • Garden and grounds maintenance

All services are subject to availability in your area. We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion.

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are provided free of charge with no obligation
  • Quotes are valid for 48 hours from the date issued unless otherwise stated
  • Prices quoted are for the specific service, property, and requirements described in your enquiry
  • Any changes to the scope of work after a quote has been issued may result in a revised price
  • Solvico reserves the right to amend a quote if the property condition differs materially from what was described at the time of enquiry
  • All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable

4. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed when:

  • You have accepted a written quote from Solvico
  • A date and time has been agreed
  • Any required access arrangements have been confirmed

Solvico will confirm all bookings in writing via email or WhatsApp. Verbal agreements alone do not constitute a confirmed booking.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Solvico will issue an invoice on job completion
  • Payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date unless a different term has been agreed in advance
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking
  • Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998
  • Solvico reserves the right to withhold future bookings until outstanding invoices are settled

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

By the client

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours before the scheduled job incur no charge
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled job may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price to cover contractor costs already committed
  • Same-day cancellations or failure to provide access on the day of the job may incur the full quoted price

By Solvico

  • In the rare event that Solvico needs to cancel or reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible
  • If Solvico cancels with less than 24 hours notice for reasons within our control, you will not be charged and we will prioritise rescheduling at no additional cost

7. The Solvico Satisfaction Guarantee

Our guarantee applies to all jobs booked through Solvico:

  • You are entitled to inspect the completed work before the contractor leaves
  • If you are not satisfied with the result, you must notify Solvico before the contractor departs or within 24 hours of job completion
  • Solvico will arrange for the issue to be rectified at no additional cost
  • If the issue cannot be resolved to your satisfaction after a return visit, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid
  • The guarantee does not apply where dissatisfaction relates to circumstances outside Solvico's control, including pre-existing damage, inaccessible areas not disclosed at the time of booking, or unreasonable expectations not reflected in the original brief

8. Before and After Photos

  • Solvico documents all jobs with before and after photographs
  • By booking a service you consent to photographs being taken of the property for quality assurance and internal record-keeping purposes
  • Photos may be used in Solvico's marketing materials unless you notify us in writing that you object to this use
  • Photos will not include identifiable personal items or individuals without explicit consent

9. Access and Property Condition

  • You are responsible for ensuring the contractor has safe and unobstructed access to the property at the agreed time
  • You must disclose any known hazards, access restrictions, or relevant property conditions at the time of enquiry
  • Solvico and its contractors reserve the right to refuse to carry out work if the property presents conditions that were not disclosed and that pose a health, safety, or practical risk
  • In such cases a cancellation fee may apply

10. Liability

  • Solvico carries public liability insurance and requires all contractors to hold their own valid public liability insurance before being assigned to any job
  • Solvico's liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the value of the job booked
  • Solvico is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage caused by undisclosed property conditions
  • Solvico is not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of rental income, deposit deductions unrelated to the service provided, or loss of business
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service:

  • Contact us at contact@solvico.co.uk as soon as possible
  • Include your name, job reference, and details of the complaint
  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days
  • We aim to resolve all complaints within 10 business days
  • If we cannot resolve your complaint directly, you may seek independent dispute resolution through the relevant consumer body

12. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at solvico.co.uk/privacy-policy. By using our services you confirm you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

Solvico reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The current version will always be available at solvico.co.uk/terms. Changes take effect from the date of publication. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
